New Instructor Required

Are you a recent graduate with an aptitude for math, excellent written communication skills, and the desire to make a difference with local students?

We are looking for a dynamic, patient, meticulous individual for a permanent, part-time position.

Applicants should have a combination of experience and education in one of the following fields: CYW, ECE, DSW, EA, or a relevant BA or BSc. New teachers with OTC will also be considered. This position involves teaching a variety of subjects to students of varying grades, levels, and abilities using planned lessons and a prescribed programme.

Duties include, but are not limited to, delivering one-to-one classes, performing daily record keeping, and discussing student progress with parents. No lesson planning or after-hours work required.

Training in our specific methodologies will be provided.

Certificates in First Aid, CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and WHMIS preferred.

All candidates must be available for two after school shifts per week on a static schedule.

Limited hours (6-8 per week) to start, with the maximum after training being between 12-20 per week during the school year and 12-36 during the summer
